ISV overview
An Independent Software Vendor (ISV) is an entity which makes a system or platform offering, among other things, smart order routing, front-end trading applications, aggregation, or a combination of these methods available to participants or customers, where such customers have been authorized by a broker firm participant.
ISV’s are not permitted to provide “on-behalf-of” trading for participants or customers on TraditionSEF platforms.
